Cover design features “October” from the French Book of Hours, Les Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry, sometimes called the most beautiful manuscript in the world. The October painting depicts an autumn scene with the Louvre of Philip Augustus, transformed and embellished by Charles V, brother of the Duke of Berry. in the background. Above each month in the series appears a blue and gold semicircle with the sign of the zodiac and the phase of the moon.
